Own vehicle courier drivers?
im seriously thinking of becomeing a courier driver using my own car,im going to start part time working arround my current job,and if it takes off ,then take on more work,my question is,does anybody have any experience in courier work,that could give me advice to start up
What is the most common bicycle couriers use?
Are single speed bicycles common in New York City, or is it too hilly?I would think the easy maintenance would be a plus, but does it slow you down?

How do I post/courier a large item of furniture?
I'm selling a large item of furniture on eBay, it is around 50kg in weight and it's dimensions are 160 x 45 x 58 CM . Parcelforce have a 30kg limit. UPS have size restrictions and use the following width 2xheight 2xdepth must not exceed 330cm. my item does by 36cm. DHL, don't provide a quote system and only go upto 31.5kg.TNT, quoted 243 VAT which is twice the value of the item Any ideas? The item is going from the Gloucestershire to Truro, Cornwall, approx 200 miles.The customer can't collect disabled and I can't deliver
